Exam Purpose | Every year, the Government of Maharashtra conducts an MPSC exam through which it selects eligible candidates for jobs under its various departments like Administration, Police, Forest, and Engineering. |
Exam Fees | The candidate will have to submit an application fee online. The payment can be made online through credit card, debit card, or net banking. Keep the application form with you for reference in the future. The application fee for the students belonging to the General Category is Rs. 524 and for the candidates belonging to the unreserved category, the fee is Rs.324. |

MPSC 2022 Application Form
Application Form
MPSC 2022 application process is completely online wherein applicants will have to visit the MPSC 2022 official website and complete the procedure given in the following steps:
- Visit the official website of MPSC i.e, https://mpsc.gov.in
- Then click on ‘New registration’ to start the process.
- Enter the details carefully to verify the details and ‘Create User’.
- Then click on submit.
- Keep the Details safe so that you can use them later for results and cut off.
- Next, upload scanned images of their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- After all the necessary fields have been filled, individuals can see the preview of their application form. Verify all the details and click on ‘Save’
- Fees can be rendered through online mode (Debit/ Credit card, Net banking) and also by offline mode (e Challan and Maha e-Seva Kendra).
- Preserve the copy of the receipt of the transaction.

MPSC syllabus As per the latest notification, the commission has revised the MPSC Mains Syllabus 2020-21. The revision has been brought in the General Studies Paper I to IV. On the other hand, no changes have been made to the Paper I and Paper II syllabus. The paper-wise MPSC Mains syllabus is elaborated in detail below.

- Essay writing- An essay on one out of the two given topics/subjects (About 400 words).
- Translation- Marathi paragraph to be translated into English, approximately 1/2 page/2 paragraphs
- Precis writing
English :

MPSC Qualification
Candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized state or university. Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates should be efficient in Marathi.
The qualification for specific posts is as follows:
- Assistant Director, Maharashtra Finance & Accounts Services: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/CA/Outlaw Accounting by ICWA/Post Graduate Degree in Commerce/MBA (Finance)
- Deputy Director of Industry (Technical): Degree in Engineering in fields related to Civil, Architecture, Town Planning, etc./Degree in Science
- Assistant Regional Transport Officer: Degree in Science or Engineering with Physics & Mathematics.

Physical Standards
Candidates can refer to the official notification for post-wise details on physical measurements. However for the post of Dy Superintendent of Police, the minimum height for male candidates should be 165 cm and for female candidates, it should be 157cm.
